Organize. Stream. Iterate.
PromptRunner is a professional Windows workspace for prompt engineers, developers, and research teams. Model entire applications, stream with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Z.AI, or the Echo test provider, and keep markdown, PDF, and image context beside every iteration inside a terminal-inspired UI.
Model applications -> features -> guides -> conversations with strongly typed IDs, aggregate roots, and JSON directories stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PromptRunner\.
Switch between OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Z.AI, and the Echo provider while streaming via IAsyncEnumerable and slash commands like /model, /models, /clear, /toguide, and /help.
Attach markdown guides with YAML front matter, synced PDFs with JSON sidecars, and annotated images per feature. Auto-save, search, and filter documentation without leaving the workflow.
Reasoning effort, verbosity, delivery formats, context gathering instructions, deliverable lists, private rubrics, and self-reflection flags sit in one reusable value object applied to every run.
Each feature stores prompts/{conversation-id}/metadata.json + messages.json so every iteration can be replayed with timestamps, explanations, and token counts.
Stay local by default and enable Google Drive or OneDrive sync when needed. OAuth status, progress bars, and log panes show every upload/download in real time.
Watch how PromptRunner keeps projects, guides, templates, and live LLM sessions in the same keyboard-first surface.

Native Windows performance with MAUI today and Avalonia parity for additional desktop targets tomorrow. MVVM + CommunityToolkit power every pane.
Domain/Application/Infrastructure layers isolate repositories, providers, and services, keeping the workspace testable and ready for future integrations.
JSON, Markdown, and metadata sidecars make every artifact diff-friendly, versionable, and easy to sync or audit without databases.
PromptRunner is in active development with enterprise-ready architecture. Reach out for roadmap details or to join the early access crew.
